It's all done except for the end board on the left. I'll finish that in a couple of days. Next come the stairs. I think it would look good and would add utility to the proch to have stairs all across the front. At parties, people could sit on them. Or I could put potted plants there. Plus the pets would love the stairs. Plus it would be a great place to sit and play guitar.

Porch floor
It's all done except for the end board on the left. I'll finish that in a couple of days. Next come the stairs. Thinking chairs have a way of making beautiful photographs. Perhaps it's the thoughts which hover around them when they are empty and the beauty of the thinker which permeates them when they are full.
Most impressive! So nice to have built it yourself with a little help from your friend. Putting our own hands into work just makes it mean more.
And I especially like all the talk about Hummers that move of their own accord...all those wingbeats and not one drop of fossil fuel used.
