Another record high
We hit a record 91 degrees today. The former was 89 in 1989. It did seem hot. It's supposed to be hot Monday and then cool back down to the 60s and 70s the rest of the week. Still no rain. Everything is so dry. I watered yesterday and it's dry already where I watered. I feel a pervasive sadness about it all.

Right now in west/central Oklahoma someone is crying in the rain of a tornado. Don't know the details yet.
Down in south/central, it's still dry and hot. But tomorrow's high is to be in the upper 50s/lower 60s.
Ah, but just as I posted that, I began to hear an ancient familiar sound. It sounds like -- RAIN!
